I won a Serger... look out unfinished projects!

Ya know, they say it's better to win something than to simply buy it. Well, I won a serger. Here it is:

It's nice looking, don't you think? It's a Speedylock Serger Model 1600 with 4 threads. I sure hope it works. It's coming from California, so who knows how long it'll take to arrive. Guess I should start taking inventory of the existing unfinished projects.

Cleaning out the knitting room

My yarns and knitting machines have been moved around a bit these last few months. They were downstairs, but when we furnished the new office the old office became available. Most of my yarn stash is upstairs along with a number of unused, knitted fabrics. I'm contemplating the purchase of a serger / overlock sewing machine that cuts and sews knitted fabrics. Maybe that will help me complete my projects sooner!

For those who don't know me, I crochet, but I don't knit by hand. I have 2 knitting machines -- a standard Brother 910 and a bulky KnitKing 270. I tend to use the bulky more than the standard, but sometimes that just depends on my mood.
